SuperApp with video conferencing
Solution
Using WeChat, Yandex ecosystem and other regional players as examples, we explored why many of them outperformed global majors in their home markets. We found out that local players focus on native habits and meet all the basic needs of their users. We also noted that, although social network functions are important, the key for regional platforms’ popularity is their superior convenience for daily needs like shopping, mobility, money transfers and classified ads.
Result
We created a messenger-based ecosystem that enabled users to solve any problem by simply sending a text or a voice message to the virtual assistant. Users can also employ the app to communicate peer-to-peer and in groups; subscribe to information channels; use online stores, video conferences, transfer money, pay for purchases and use other services and applications.
Our team researched user behavior and designed the app for the client’s target audience. The application design is based on social connections, culture and other specific features of the country.
