AutoExpert specializes in selling wheels and tires for cars, trucks, public transport vehicles, construction and loading machinery. Its client base ranges from small businesses to large retail networks. In addition to sales, the company operates its own delivery vehicle fleet across the entire country. Also, AutoExpert has a chain of tire workshops.

Solution

A B2B portal based on an out-of-the-box ERP platform, providing services to users with different access levels, ranging from big corporate clients and service companies to smaller dealerships and workshops. The portal’s main features are:

  • A wholesale online shop with a standard interface and two-way integration with the client’s ERP system
  • Personal user accounts with purchase history, inventory catalog, pricing and special offers
  • An option of managing all the paperwork within the portal using its online document flow feature
  • Transaction docuflow is customizable. The built-in configurator tool enables creating different multi-step processes for different transactions involving adjustable user access levels and permissions and automated system actions
  • Product information management is enabled with an Export Manager module. It enables exporting and uploading data to third-party systems like online shops. Content can be filtered by assortment and other parameters before being exported in a user-selected format compatible with Excel, YAML and others
  • A smart search engine based on Elasticsearch enables finding and selecting the right products based on a wide set of parameters like size, manufacturer, vehicle model etc. The search engine relies on a reference compatibility database to ensure correct product matching
  • The portal automatically collects analytical data and generates relevant reports

Result

This project was implemented under a new operation model. Artel assigned a dedicated product manager to deal with the task to substitute a manager from the client company. Also, the project relied on outsourced technical support throughout the whole process, from collecting customer requirements to delivering tech solutions. This model proved to be efficient as there was a direct contact with the developer and the final product was a perfect match to the customer needs.
